The Experience
Private Charter on the “Zodiac”
The Private Dry Tortugas Charter offers an exclusive experience for your group to explore the remarkable Dry Tortugas National Park on a personalized journey. This is a 3 day adventure where you'll sail on the luxurious Zodiac catamaran, a 4 room live aboard vessel, each room with it's own private bathroom and shower. We can accommodate a party of 6 passengers on our luxury yacht. Cruise in comfort and sleep overnight on the Zodiac. Enjoy a private tour of Dry Tortugas and explore islands that only a private charter can take you to. Meals will be provided by the Restless Native crew as a part of your adventure!
Book your Dry Tortugas Adventure as early as possible! We recommend booking your charter before you buy your plane tickets so you can reserve the best dates for your trip! This is a very popular and exclusive private charter experience, and we are often booked out months in advance. Sometimes we can accommodate last minute bookings - but do understand that this is a 3 day trip. The Dry Tortugas reef is the 3rd largest coral reef system globally, providing a unique opportunity to witness diverse marine life and pristine underwater ecosystems.
Restless Native provides snorkel gear on the house with your private charter adventure! The coral reef at Dry Tortugas is considered THE BEST SNORKELING on the eastern seaboard. Due to the remote nature of the region the coral within the National Park is pristine. Swimming through the clear waters of the Dry Tortugas is a magical experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of underwater life.
Certainly, the charter includes a visit to Fort Jefferson, a historic 19th-century coastal fortress that allows you to delve into the area's intriguing history.
What to Bring
Bring your necessities but we recommend packing light! Hard luggage-suitcases, roller bags or any type of hard-shell luggage is prohibited because it can damage the boat interior. Soft luggage, hand luggage, and duffel bags are the way to go!
Prepare clothes according to weather and to get wet! We are on the sea after all. Bring sunscreen, your swimsuit, a hat and sunglasses! In the winter months sunset tours it can get cold so we suggest a windbreaker.
If you would like to scuba, please bring along your certification and gear. We partner with several shops in Key West that can outfit you. Keep in mind, we are not an official scuba charter with a divemaster.
Accommodations & Amenities
Yes there are bathrooms at Dry Tortugas National Park. There are also 4 restrooms on the Restless Native Zodiac vessel available for use.
No! Because Dry Tortugas National Park is so remote, there aren't any restaurants or facilities that sell food and drinks. We bring everything needed with us on our epic trip. Your custom charter includes meals. Contact the Restless Native crew to discuss your meal options.
There is no cell phone service at Dry Tortugas because it is so remote, unless you are with Restless Native! Our vessel is equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi, available as an upgrade for your adventure.
